Lithuania law allows medical cannabis to be manufactured and distributed

The Lithuanian government has amended its Law on the Control of Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances to allow the manufacture, distribution and use of medical cannabis in Lithuania for health care purposes. Products must form part of a registered medicinal product, and companies will need to apply for a licence from the State Medicines Control Agency. Cannabis cultivation will remain illegal.
