Egypt state employees face prosecution after mandatory drug testing

Following a series of drug tests, over 500 government employees were referred to the Administrative Prosecution Authority in Egypt, having tested positive for illegal drugs. Any people refusing such tests are liable to have their employment terminated. Egypt has a mandatory one-year prison sentence for people caught using drugs.
